When I turned 21, many years ago, my grandmother (an active Republican) said to me, “Read up on each political party, decide which part represents your philosophy and keep up with what is going on in the world. Vote each and every election, especially the primary elections. If you don’t vote in the primary, you are allowing someone else to choose the general election candidate for which you will vote.”
I have voted in every election since I turned 21 and am now 77 years old. I have read daily papers, listened to the news and use Google to check out various information. I chose to be a Democrat as I felt it was and is the party of the working person.
I have been paying attention to what is going on with the cost-of-living increase in Social Security that seniors need and which elected officials are representing seniors’ interests.
I find that Congressman Donald Norcross has been paying great attention to us and our needs. He is someone seniors can talk to and know he is listening. He asks you questions and listens to your answers. I have discussed the cost-of-living increase needed for Social Security each year and he is working diligently to come up with a fair way in which to determine that increase.
He is standing up for seniors and should absolutely be re-elected.
I would like to thank Norcross for his sincerity and assistance and sharing his thoughts with me. He is definitely a congressman standing up for seniors and should absolutely be re-elected.
