Norcross, touting his role in helping to bring federal money to Camden and surrounding communities in South Jersey, noted his plan for incremental increases in the federal minimum wage to bring it to $15 an hour; his support for equal pay for equal work; and the need for affordable, quality day care.

“I remember what it’s like to be unemployed,” the Camden resident noted, recalling his time as a union electrician. “The cycles are up and down, and that’s what (tradespeople) live with.”
