Democrats have a majority and wave of new members from Pa. and N.J. What will they do with it?

The new crop includes four Pennsylvania women — breaking the all-male makeup of the state's delegation. The region's Republican representation will drop from six to one, with only Bucks County's Brian Fitzpatrick remaining. The new dean of the area's delegation will be U.S. Rep. Donald Norcross, a Camden County Democrat who took office way back in 2014.

Camden City Officials Honor Those Camden Residents Who Have Served

The City of Camden honored its veterans Monday with a ceremony that both city officials and veterans hope will be the beginning of a tradition every Veterans Day.

Camden Mayor Frank Moran was joined by U.S. Rep. Donald Norcross, Camden City Director of Human Services Carmen Rodriguez, members of the Camden American Legion Post 473 and the newly formed City of Camden Veterans Commission to honor those who served in the U.S. armed forces for the first time in Roosevelt Plaza.

Union leader-turned-lawmaker says new Congress will work for workers

The House committee that handles most worker issues will definitely vote in the next Congress to raise the federal minimum wage, a veteran unionist, lawmaker and representative who sits on the committee says.

“As a member of the Education and the Workforce Committee, we’ll have a very different attitude” towards workers and unions than the hostility of the panel’s GOP majority for the last eight years, adds Rep. Donald Norcross, D-N.J., who for years headed the South Jersey Building and Construction Trades Council.

Norcross To Appear on PBS’ This Old House

U.S. Congressman Donald Norcross (NJ-01), a member of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), joined the crew on the long-running PBS television series This Old House to film episode 1706/3806 “Net Zero Blanket” (Jamestown, Rhode Island part 6 of 13). Norcross spoke with VoTech students about the importance of apprenticeships and assisted with electrical work.

Rep. Norcross Wins Another Two-Year Term

Democratic Congressman Donald Norcross has won his re-election bid for the First Congressional District seat. The incumbent congressman beat challenger Paul Dilks to win his third two-year term.

The First Congressional District includes Camden as well as other parts of Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester counties. Norcross won with over 63-percent of the vote.
