NJ District 1 Primary Election Results: Norcross Declared Winner

Donald Norcross has completed the first step in his re-election bid. Norcross defeated a pair of challengers in Tuesday night’s Democratic Primary in the First Congressional District. (See results below, according to Politico.)

Norcross has held the seat since 2014. He will now face Republican Paul Dilks in the Nov. 6 general election. Dilks ran unopposed in Tuesday’s Republican Primary.

District 1 includes 36 towns in Camden County, 14 in Gloucester County and two in Burlington County.

Results from the Democratic Primary are below:

Donald Norcross, 83.8 percent (38,856)
Rob Carlson, 9.9 percent (4,589)
Scot John Tomaszewski, 6.3 percent (2,903)
