South Jersey Nonprofits To Share $823K In DHS Grants

Nine South Jersey nonprofits will share a total of $823,000 in federal preparedness grants from the Department of Homeland Security, Rep. Donald Norcross (D-1) announced. These grants assist states, local areas, tribal, territorial governments, nonprofit agencies and the private sector with their preparedness efforts.

NJEA PAC Issues 2020 Endorsements; Backing Bucco and Dunn in LD25 Special Senate and Assembly Races

The NJEA’s PAC released their list of their endorsement recommendations for the 2020 fall congressional races, as well as LD25’s special Senate and Assembly races, in which they support incumbent Republicans Senator Anthony Bucco and Assemblywoman Aura Dunn. The PAC is supporting the Democratic incumbents, while backing CD2 Democratic challenger Amy Kennedy; they opted against making an recommendation in CD4.

Camden County To Get $1.3M In FEMA Grants To Fight Coronavirus

CAMDEN COUNTY, NJ — The Camden County Office of Emergency Management will receive $1,395,002.66 in Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Public Assistance (PA) grants to help combat the coronavirus pandemic, officials announced on Monday. U.S. Senators Bob Menendez and Cory Booker and Rep. Donald Norcross (NJ-1) announced the funding. The senators said they have now secured more than $160 million in PA grants to help the state battle the pandemic.
