Rep. Norcross Wins Another Two-Year Term

Democratic Congressman Donald Norcross has won his re-election bid for the First Congressional District seat. The incumbent congressman beat challenger Paul Dilks to win his third two-year term.

The First Congressional District includes Camden as well as other parts of Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester counties. Norcross won with over 63-percent of the vote.

Community Vigil remembers Pittsburgh victims

Hundreds of people from across Southern New Jersey came together on Sunday night, Oct. 28, at Cong. Beth El in Voorhees to mourn the victims of the Tree of Life synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh. The event, which was co-sponsored by the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey and the Tri-County Board of Rabbis, featured moving tributes from Federation leadership, area rabbis, and local political leaders.

Salvation Army Honors Those Making an Impact in Camden

The Salvation Army recently honored individuals and business who have had an impact on the Camden community at its 4th Annual Expect Change luncheon.

The event was held on Oct. 24 and sponsored by U.S. Facilities, Babst Calland, Rondo-Pak/Contemporary Graphic Solutions and Holman Enterprise.

Speakers included New Jersey American Water President Deborah Degillio, Congressman Donald Norcross (NJ-01) and others, highlighting the Kroc Center’s valued partnerships and greater impact on the Camden community.
