CHERRY HILL - As he presented Jefferson Health New Jersey President Joe Devine with a proclamation, U.S. Rep. Donald Norcross said quietly, "You're saving lives ... there can be no higher calling."

As one of the Philadelphia-South Jersey region's largest health care providers, Jefferson's mission is saving lives, but on Monday the system was singled out for its work saving the lives of a particular group of people: Those who are struggling with heroin or opioid addiction.

Donald Norcross has completed the first step in his re-election bid. Norcross defeated a pair of challengers in Tuesday night's Democratic Primary in the First Congressional District.

Parkland shooting survivor Carly Novell reflected on her experience and on the numerous other mass shootings that have occurred across the nation Tuesday during a gun violence town hall at Haddon Heights High School hosted by Rep. Donald Norcross, D-1st of Camden.

Officials in Camden County are honoring the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives protecting their communities.

On Wednesday, May 30th, Congressman Donald Norcross, local officials, and families of fallen first responders gathered to unveil the newly constructed First Responder Memorial at the Camden County Regional Emergency Training Center in Gloucester Township.

"These refueling tankers will bring new jobs and growth to our state and make our base an indispensable starting point for national security missions on the East Coast," said Rep. Donald Norcross, D-1st Dist., a member of the House Armed Services Committee.
